Why does my report show a different figure from my dashboard?

Almost always because the two are reading different periods or different centers.

Check the date range on both. The dashboard defaults to This Month while a report may open on a different range.

Check the center filter. A report filtered to one center shows that location only.

Check draft documents. Neither includes drafts, but a document you expect to see may still be unposted.

If period and center match and the figures still differ, that is worth investigating properly. Start a chat with the report name, the period and both figures.
